Astatic D104 Crystal/Dynamic Model ---1929-36
The D-104 Crystal Microphone was introduced in
the mid-thirties and was still in production until
just recently. A favorite of AM ham operators for
its high frequency response which results in very
intelligible audio. Its high output voltage is
characteristic of crystal elements and its high
impedence allows for direct grid input.
